Helping Other Cats in Our Community

The number of homeless and unwanted cats in our community continues to be a major issue. As volunteers, there is a limited amount of resources available, including space in the volunteers' homes, time and, of course, money.

Through its Spay/Neuter Community Outreach Program, Cause for Paws offers-- AS OUR DONATED FUNDS ALLOW-- two programs for financial assistance to families who cannot afford their owned cats' spay/neuter surgery:

• The Twin Cities PetFix program, which is a collaboration with Animal Ark of Hastings, MN (see www.animalarkshelter.org for more information. )
• Our own Cause for Paws Spay/Neuter Subsidy program, generously funded by the PETCO Foundation.

Through foster care, adoption, spay/neuter assistance, education and collaborative efforts with other progressive local organizations, our small Cause for Paws group will continue to help as many cats in the community as we possibly can.
