![]() The Adoption Process:
If the deposit system is used, your deposit will be returned to you when the animal turns six months old and you provide documentation from your vet that the animal has been altered. Our policy complies with a state law that requires this of all animal shelters. It is also to your advantage, since altered pets live safer, healthier, longer lives and are easier to care for. It also is the only hope we have of stemming the tide of thousands of healthy, loving dogs and cats who die every year or are sold for research in U.S. shelters due to the lack of homes for them. For more information on the benefits of spaying and neutering please see Why You Should Spay or Neuter Your Pet courtesy of the Humane Society of the United States. Our committment to our animals and you, our adopters We will make follow up contacts with you periodically to see how your new pet is doing in its new home. We will also be here for you if you have any questions or problems. We always aim to make every adoption a permanent, lifelong home. Should any unforeseen circumstance arise and you can not keep the animal, it must be returned to us. To begin the application process now, please fill out an Online Application now. Pleas visit us!
