Thank you for your interest in Animal Resource Network, Inc. (ARNI). ARNI is a non-profit Michigan corporation that operates as an animal welfare organization. We need volunteers with a variety of skills.

Volunteer paperwork consists of three components: 1) Volunteer Application; 2) Volunteer Agreement and 3) Volunteer Handbook. Please complete and sign the Application and Agreement, and return to the address above. After reviewing your information, our volunteer coordinator will contact you regarding your availability to volunteer, and the activities in which you have expressed interest.

Volunteer Agreement

In consideration of this opportunity to volunteer, I agree to the following terms and conditions, intending to be legally bound by them:

1. I have received a copy of the volunteer handbook containing ARNI’s mission, rules, regulations, and policies, and agree to abide by them while I am a volunteer.

2. If I stop being a volunteer for ARNI for any reason, or upon ARNI’s request at any time, I will promptly return all of ARNI’s animals, supplies, equipment, records,monies, and other items. All items shall be returned in good, clean condition.

3. I assume the risk of being bitten, scratched, injured, or frightened by cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies in connection with my volunteer work for ARNI. ARNI is not liable to me for any injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs or expenses whatsoever, which I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer activities with ARNI. I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless ARNI from and against any claims, lawsuits injuries, damages, losses, costs and/or expenses whatsoever sustained by me in connection with my volunteer activities for ARNI, or my breach of ARNI’s rules, regulations, policies and programs.

4. I understand and agree that ARNI may refuse any volunteer application for any reason. It shall be the policy of Animal Resource Network, Inc (ARNI) to provide equal membership/employment/service opportunities to all eligible persons without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, marital status, parental status, handicap, membership in any labor organization, political affiliation, and for employment only, height, weight, and record of arrest without conviction.

5. If I will be sheltering or providing foster care or boarding for any of ARNI’s animals in my home or business, I consent to ARNI visiting my home or business from time to time to observe the animals and their living quarters.

6. I have accurately and truthfully completed the Volunteer Application and Agreement.

7. Any modification to this Agreement must be in writing signed by both parties. This Agreement is binding upon ARNI, myself, and said respective heirs, successors, assigns, executors, and personal representatives.
