Here is the wonderful group from Best Friends of Maryland, wearing their santa caps, with Sherry, from Poole's Dog Rescue, accepting a great donation. We are very lucky to have such a committed organization to help us out. They donated cases of Pedigree canned dog food, 150 pounds of rabbit food and more cat litter than I care to carry. Also there was cleanning supplies and paper towells, which we use a lot of. Even some bedding was donated. And a giant stocking, you can see in the middle of this photo, was filled with different toys and dog gifts. It was a blessed Christmas for us and the animals here at the rescue.
