Chowder, an All Breed dog, Models in Pets in Pearls Charity Fashion Show

Chowder is a 2-year-old Chow Chow who was adopted from Potomac Highlands, the West Virginia "sister rescue" of All Breed Rescue and Referral. Because his breed has a reputation for being temperamental, Chowder had been in his foster home for six months without any applications.

When he was adopted, during the first 3 weeks he completely ignored his new people (typical Chow)! Now he is loving and loyal, with a good sense of humor and excellent, courtly manners. He bows to them every morning when they come downstairs, has never had an accident and would not think of jumping on furniture without being asked. Chowder is now a minor celebrity in the neighborhood and has helped to improve understanding of his breed.
