Your Donation Saves Lives!

We count on your donations to continue our life-saving work. As a non-profit organization with no paid staff members, our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly on behalf of local animals. And our efforts are paying off. Our innovative programs have been credited with reducing the number of animals who are euthanized at our local animal control facility. Our dream is that one day, no adoptable animals will be killed in area shelters. We thank you for helping us realize this dream.Visit the donation page to see where your money goes.

Kudos to Howard County Animal Control for their response to the unfortunate Court of Appeals ruling:

"A recent Maryland Court of Appeals ruling regarding pit bulls will not change the way Howard County Animal Control adopts out pit bulls and pit bull mixes.  Animal Control will continue its procedure of assessing each dog individually.  Those pit bull and pit bull mixes assessed to be adoptable will be made available for adoption.  Howard County Animal Control will ask those adopting pit bulls to sign a waiver that makes it clear they are aware of the Court of Appeals decision before adopting."

On that note, introducing Rose, a lovely 5 month old pup:

Rose

In addition to being gorgeous, Rose is described as "just lovely", mild mannered for a puppy, and leans into you for attention.  Her world was ripped out from under her when she was evicted from her home based only on her outside appearance.  Come to the shelter to meet her and see her sweet spirit in person!
