Cool Cat Rescue and Adoption
What shots/vaccines do you need to provide?
All of our cats are treated for fleas, mites, worms, examined by a vet for any
illnesses, tested for kitty AIDs (FYI - not communicable to humans), & tested
for Feline Leukemia. They are delivered to you with rabies and distemper shots
completed. And of course, all of our cats are spay/neutered as soon as we get
them. When you adopt the kitty, your adoption fee goes to cover all these
expenses. You may want to consider getting your new cat's teeth cleaned so that
they are tarter-free, and keeps their breath smelling sweet. Within a month, you
want to re-check your cats ears for any ear mite residue and repeat with a
second mite treatment. Run a flea come through their fur to make sure all is
well there as well. Keeping your kitty up to date with shots prevents it from
being susceptible to diseases. Your cat will be delivered with its medical
records. Kittens need a number of shots in different intervals, so these medical
records will be helpful.
