Cool Cat Rescue and Adoption

Adopt an Adult Discussion Continued from the Home Page.......

Why?  Because...Outdoor kitties that don't find homes soon enough die within 3 years due to the elements, sickness (COLDS!), and not enough food/water. Let alone being run over by cars. We'd really like you to consider the following...when you get a kitten, there are a lot of unknowns about its personality...and if you don't have enough time to spend with it up front, it may never be the kitty you hoped to spend the rest of your life with. Our adult kitties have been evaluated for their temperaments, their behavior traits, their litter-box habits, their dominance, their ability to get along with others, and most importantly, their overall health. There is so much less risk in knowing what your getting when you get an adult cat. And, at 1 year, there is plenty of room to train them further because as an indoor kitty, they have the opportunity to live 15-20 years! Please take a look at our adults. Many have been waiting for months for you to pick them, but when kittens are available, they seem to have the stage. Just remember they are hoping for their chance too!
