Our Happy Tails!
Buster
buster, my muse, is robustly alive and well . .
. i don't have any recent photos that are much
different than sent previously. i've
enclosed one 'after a hard day's work', lying near his star wars pillow . . .
buster lies by my side while i write campaigns for
clients like the gap and kenneth cole.
if only he could speak, well, words not snorts and
barks! he had a virus a few weeks ago and i had to take him to animal emergency. i was afraid he wouldn't stop vomiting and might've
swallowed part of a tennis ball. alas, the x-rays and
follow-up visit assured me that he must've just caught something in the dog
run, or on the street. he does have his nose in
everything. he's developed some finicky eating issues
since then, but i think he just prefers eggs,
avocados and spaghetti to his usual dog food. he's
registered with the city now, so buster is an official new york
city resident finally! (i
had no proof (affidavit/notarized) that he was neutered, so the second vet
visit was confirmation.) he's due for his spring
check-up this month, for heartworm, etc.. i'm
considering a move to a bigger place this summer, and if so, may adopt another boston. he rarely is alone, and at
that, 4 hours at most. he is absolutely the sweetest,
though mischievous, boy . . . there are many bostons
in the neighborhood, and he is one of the biggest (27 pounds now). i hope you and yours are well. will send more pics when i get a chance.

(Another) Buster
We
have had Buster now for a little over a week, and it
seems like he has been here forever. We all love him very much, and even
Max is quite attached to him already. One won't go for a walk without the
other now. Buster used to back off if people walked by us, now he is becoming
the overly social dog, just like Max. He has come a long way in just the
week. I hope more people adopt, because these dogs are very thankful to
be in a safe environment, they show you so much love. They play
with each other and wear themselves out. Buster loves to go out in the
yard and run around. He is a great dog, very lovey
dovey.

Frankie & Johnny
Jan
C in MA who is a fantastic friend to many special needs pets over the years has
adopted the boys and has committed to their therapy & care. Jan will do
whatever is necessary to help these darling pups. I can not tell you how happy
I am that Jan has adopted the Hushpuppy brothers. We could not have asked for a
better home for them!
Thanks to all of you who helped save Frankie & Johnny - there is a
special place in my heart for all of you! Fondly, Roie
