You may find your forever friend by visiting the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter Monday through Saturday (maps below). Or, you may visit us at one of our Pet Adoption Days. Animals at the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter on the East Bank are featured on the East Bank Shelter's website, and animals at the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter on the West Bank are featured on the West Bank Shelter's website. Felines in our Fostering Program and those at The Purr Pad, are featured on our website.
Felines from the Kitten Fostering Program and The Purr Pad are Feline Leukemia/FIV negative, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoption fees are $75 per kitten/cat. For specialty breeds, such as Siamese, Bengals, Russian Blues, Manxes and others, the adoption fee may be higher.

August 1st - Jefferson Feed, Pet & Garden Center, 4421 Jefferson Highway (at Central Ave.), 10am-2pm.
