Hook was born about 4/15/2002. He is a solid black mixed breed with a strongly hooked tail, hence his name. He is wary of people, but can be friendly, and is compatible with other cats.

Hook was rescued from an abandoned building being used as a "crack house". His rescuer could not keep him, but surrendered him to the shelter, instead.
