IGPR RECOMMENDS:
A Great Pyrenees Puppy- So You REALLY Want One?
Thanks for visiting the Indy Great We are not a shelter. All of our dogs live in foster homes. These generous families help raise, socialize and treat any medical conditions the Pyr may have had prior to rescue. This gives you, the adopter, an advantage. By having pyrs in foster homes we are able to learn alot about the dogs prior to adoption. This makes it easier to match potential adopters to the right pyr for their family. Foster homes are urgently needed. Please visit our foster page or contact us if you are interested in giving a homeless pyr a temporary home. Welcome! Photograph of Willow, found dumped in a forest and rescued as a 3 month old puppy by IGPR in March 2007, now almost 3 years old. Due to lack of foster homes,
we are currently unable to accept anynew dogs into our rescue program.
Foster homes are urgently needed in order to help the Great Pyrenees currently in rescue and shelters! Many fosters currently have multiple dogs in foster in their homes in an effort to save their lives. If you would like to provide a foster home to a homeless Great Pyrenees, e-mail us at info@igpr.org.
If you have a Great Pyrenees you want or need to surrender and are willing to keep your dog until a home can be found, please contact us for an owner intake survey at info@igpr.org We will need digital photos of your dog to post too; one a close up ofyour dog's face, another of head and body and one of your choice. The better the photos, the better chance your dog has of generatinginterest from an adopter! No phone calls please!
We Need Volunteers for Adoption Events- it's EASY- click here and we'll show you.
