If you want to report abuse/neglect:

Please be advised, all abuse and neglect calls can remain anonymous.  We request that you leave contact information so we can obtain additional information if necessary. Please call or call and e-mail as much of the following that you can.

Your name and contact information.

A description of the situation and animals involved.

Location of the issue.

Please note the following: If you are calling about a dog on a short lead, lacking shelter, or lacking food or water please do NOT feed, water or provide the dog with shelter. If we report to the house and these situations have been rectified we cannot take action even if you admit to feeding, watering, or providing the dog with shelter. The same would apply for many similar situations.

If it is an immediate medical emergency: a downed dog/cat or active abuse please call our phone line (815)224-0061 for the emergency number provided in the message and your local police department.

Disappointingly there are situations that you or us would consider neglectful but they may not break any laws, thus we will not be able to take any action.
