Our shelter is conveniently located off of I-80, and near I-39. Look for the elevated big blue building with all the garage doors. (We used to be a trucking terminal.)

Directions:

From I-80: Take exit 77 towards La Salle, Rt 351. Turn right (west) at the stop light onto Civic Drive/N30th Road. Take the first left (south) onto Industrial Drive. We are on the right (east) side of the road in a blue trucking terminal.

From I-39: Take exit 59B/I-80 West. Then follow the directions above from I-80.

From St. Vincent’s Avenue/Joliet Street: Travel north on St. Vincent’s Avenue towards

I-80. When you get to Civic Drive/N30th Road/Flying J, turn left (west). Take the first left (south) onto Industrial Drive. We are on the right (east) side of the road in a blue trucking terminal.

From Rt 251 in Peru: On 251, just north of I-80 turn east onto La Salle Road. Follow the road under I-80. Turn left (north) when you get to the four way stop onto Dimmick/Airport Road. Take the first right (east) onto Civic Drive/N30th Road. Take the first left (south) onto Industrial Drive. We are on the right (east) side of the road in the blue trucking terminal.

Extra Tips:

1). We are in the former Double D Trucking Terminal.

2). Industrial Drive is flanked by Inman Electric and Harvest Bakery.
