Mandy: Mandy came to us along with her two sons from a Southern Illinois shelter after their owner could no longer keep them after she was found to have too many animals. Mandy is 5 years old and very petite, she is a small Saint weighing around 90 pounds. She is a real sweetheart and gets along very well with children but would prefer to be the only dog. Carlisle: This handsome 3-4 year old male came to us after his owner abandoned him at an area shelter overnight in a pen in 30 below weather! He was skinny and matted. He is very sweet and would be good in a home with older children. He enjoys playing with his foster brothers and sisters but would prefer to be the only dog in a nice suburban home. Pippa: This sweet 1 year old came to us after her owners could no longer care for her. She was diagnosed with advanced hip dysplasia and with the help of ISBR had surgery to correct her one hip. She is recovering very well and is ready for her new home! She is a sweet, petite,  gal, who gets along with other dogs. She would do well in a home with children over 10 years old and she is sometimes startled easily by the little ones. She walks well on a leash and enjoys playing with her toys and foster brother.

Daisy: This gorgeous gal was found running loose as a stray. Her owner learned of her where abouts and simply abandoned her. What a loss for them and a HUGE gain for whoever adopts this girl! There simply isn't enough room to tell you of all her great qualities! She has a wonderful disposition and loves everyone and everything! She is quiet and lovable. She loves to cuddle with you or lay at your feet. She is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to ride in the car and walks very well on a leash. She is an older girl, about 6-7years old but is spunky like a 3 year old and loves to play. She does have arthritic knees, more than likely from an untreated ACL injury, but gets around very well and can still romp and play with the "kids".
