Chief: My life started out pretty crummy. I thought I found a loving home but they could no longer keep me. From there they gave me away to a person who thought the best place for me was on the end of a chain. I was fed and given water but no shelter. No shelter at all from the teenage boys next door who used me for target practice with their BB Gun. They shot me many time but the real pain is when they shot at my face and hurt my nose. Now at 7 months old, I have finally found a safe place with ISBR. I am a really nice boy who gets along well with everyone and everything! I love to cuddle and be petted. General: This handsome man came to us from a Central Illinois shelter after his owners did not realize "how big Saints get". He is a very sweet boy who gets along well with other dogs and children. He is quite the lover. He is estimated to be 1-2 years old.

Lola: Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl....no doubt this beautiful girl
will steal the show!  This amazing, 11 month old, smooth coat girl came from a
family with four children in Central Illnois.  The family had to make some
changes and made the very difficult decision to surrender her to ISBR.  She's a
very sweet girl, with a very gentle but big personality.  She gets along great
with other dogs, cats, and kids.  She's housebroken, crate trained, and walks
like a dream on a leash - putting her foster brother and sister to
shame!  Most nights she puts herself to bed in her crate around 8:00 p.m. and
sleeps through the night.  She has completed obedience training, and follows
basic commands very well.  She will make a fabulous addition to anyone's family,
big or small.
