"I found the purr-fect family!"
"Someone picked me!
I'm going home!"
GINGER- Another FFHS Hero!!!!
A plaque outside the front door of Betty Rogers' Polo home reads,
"A spoiled rotten dog lives here."
Ginger is pampered for a very good reason- after Rogers, 78, fell outside her home in November, Ginger pulled her inside to safety. Rogers adopted Ginger three years ago, she was 6 and had been at the shelter for months because nooone wanted an older dog. "I saw her picture in the paper and I had to have her" Rogers said. That decision turned out to be the right one.

"Sammy's new name is Samuel- Earl- pronounced Sam-E. Sammy is very sociable, loves people, and is perfect around other dogs. He is very obedient and such a big lover boy who thinks he is a 65lb lap dog. He even smiles. We are sorry we didn't get him earlier because he is such a phenomenal dog. I can guarantee he will never see the inside of a shelter again."
