[Adoptable Dogs List]
All of our dogs that are adopted come with a free class with Lisa Dohlman,
Professional Dog Trainer and Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Call Lisa at 319-217-1190.
Featured Dog

Pongo
Dalmation Mix
Size: Medium
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Notes: Pongo is easy-going, very gentle and loving. He loves
hugs and enjoys leisurely walks. Due to a severe ear infection
that went untreated, Pongo cannot hear. Don’t think for a minute
that this gets in his way of living a normal dog’s life — he is
very social and does just great getting around and such. Pongo’s
other senses are very sharp due to his hearing loss and he’s very
smart and a quick learner.
He is crate-trained and
wouldn't mind a feline to keep him company. He loves kids and does
great on leash. He is currently living in a foster home in
Washington. For more information, please contact Sheila at
shedesigns@iowatelecom.net or 319-863-0604. All of our dogs are
spayed/neutered, and have been updated on all routine shots.

[Adoptable Cats List]
Featured Cat

Slippers
Domestic Short Hair - black
and white, mitted
Size: Medium
Age: Young
Sex: Female
Notes: Slipper's adoption fee has been reduced by $20 as she has
unfortunately been waiting for a forever home for too long. "I
just know my Prince/Princess Charming is going to find me and take me home!"
Slippers is a mitted black short-hair with beautiful markings and
white whiskers that contrast charmingly with her black face. She
was found all alone, wandering down a busy highway that leads to
our local airport. She is a calm kitty and can be a bit shy, but
is also very curious and likes to investigate new things. One of
her favorite things is to be scratched behind her ears. She likes
to snuggle up with the other cats for naps and gets along with
most dogs.
All our cats have been spayed/neutered, tested for
feline leukemia, vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. They have also been treated for fleas
and ear mites, bathed, and come with bragging rights.
Microchipping will take place at the time of adoption.
