Volunteering with PAWS

At any given time we might need help with the following:

• Shelter Maintenance
• Animal Photo Shoots
• Writing Bios for animals to be posted on Petfinder
• Walking dogs
• Petting & Brushing cats
• Help with fundraisers- donate pop, bottled water, or baked goods
• Animal Transport
• Errands
• Office Support

If you would like to donate your time by caring for the animals, helping at the shelter, or participating in special events, please call Amber Talbot at (319) 653-6713.

Foster Homes

If you would like to provide foster care for an animal in your home, please call Amber Talbot at (319) 653-6713.
 

Please contact us if you are willing to provide any services on a regular or on-call basis. You can also fill out the volunteer profile form at Petfinder, which might help you to quantify your volunteer abilities.
