Adoption Stories [No Longer Flying Solo!]
Solo
is the perfect success story. He was found injured and hungry
in a ditch in the Washington area. He had been so abused he could
hardly hold his head up or look you in the eye. After months of
living in a PAWS volunteer's home, Solo came out of his shell
and blossomed into a wonderful boy. Now he has been adopted by
the Schear family of Alexander, Iowa and has found a loving forever
home! Tom Schear wrote us this update. "Just wanted to let you
know we have had Solo in our home since Saturday and he is just
wonderful. I don't think he has barked once. He whines a bit when
he sees another dog and wants to make friends. The other dogs
in the neighborhood are all tied up or caged. I think they are
jealous that Solo gets to go out for walks. He is a sweet dog,
friendly, and utterly harmless."
