Who we are.
FOBAC, INc is dedicated to finding homes for animals
at the Municipal shelter that are not claimed and we
occasionally take in animals from other area shelters
that are on their last days.

FOBAC meets the last Monday of each month at the Berlin Community Center Kensington Rd. in Berlin.

SPAY CLINIC

FOBAC sponsors a low cost spay clinic for stray and feral cats. The cost is $60 and includes a distemper/rabies vaccine, nail trimming and ear cleaning if needed. Call 860-828-(KATS)5287 for an appointment. The only way to stop the euthanasia of so many cats in shelters is to spay and neuter your cat. Some financial assistance is available for hardship cases. To sponsor a spay for a needy family, call us at 860-828-5287. You will receive a photo of the cat you help and a short story about the cat.
Did you know that one unspayed female cat can produce over 12,000 offspring in only 5 years?? Next time someone says, one litter wont make a difference, think again. One litter can make a huge difference. PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CAT !!

Our Featured Pet of the Month

"SASSY"

Sassy came to us scared and unsure. Once she had time to settle down, we found that she is really just a sweet, determined girl looking for that special someone to call her own. She was an obvious case of neglect and was allowed to reproduce but she is very comfortable with indoor sounds like the TV or vacuum cleaner and even loud noises so she must have been allowed inside. Could she have come from a chaotic home that took a pet when they really shouldn't have??? I guess we will never know her background but we do know that she really enjoys the comforts of the indoors and is just sooo excited to be treated well and to be given attention. In fact, she is so excited that she will 'love nip' or give a little swat when you STOP petting her. She is still very young and will learn not to do this when she has the attention that she craves. Sassy has a lot to give. She is VERY friendly and bubbly and runs to greet you when she first sees you. From then on, she is with you all the time. She spent time in a foster home where a family member had a sculpting studio in the basement where Sassy stayed. Sassy sat politely right under the sculpting pedestal the whole time while the lady sculpted. She is definitely a companion cat. She greeted everyone that came to visit her and everyone wished they could have taken her home. Sassy is delightful girl. She is a princess and would love to be treated like one. She likes lots of attention and can't wait to go home with someone that will make her first this time. Won't it be you?? Please give this silver beauty a call at 860-828-5287
