The "Rescuers' Pledge" and "Cats' Prayer" are presented against images of Katie's Place cats from the past. The white cat in the Rescuers' Pledge is 12-yr-old Spikey who was surrendered with, and later adopted with, his brother. In the Cats' Prayer, the tabby on the left is Dave and the tabby on the right is The Professor. Both the tabby boys were FeLV/FIV+ and both were adopted. These are the lucky ones.
