Katie's Place's book, The Cat Who Sang & Other Stories of Rescued
Pets, is about the animals at Katie's Place over the years, their humour
and pathos, their challenges and adventures, their eccentricities and altruism.
Their stories have moved volunteers, adopters, and supporters, and they
surprise us still, even after thousands of rescues. Click here

Our 'Sales Shelves'
We have a small display area at the back of the shelter with special
trinkets, cards, books, pet supplies or other items that we think people
might like to buy. When something nice is donated for which the shelter
just isn't a good place, we figure somebody else can enjoy it at home and
we can put the proceeds toward animal care. Our sales cupboard isn't large
but we hope to reorganize things better over the next year and display
more items. Check it out next time you drop by.
Cards
We are offering hand-crafted cards featuring our own Katie's Place
animals. Each box contains six cards and envelopes and each card describes
the journey of one pet from homelessness into a happy home. One boxed set
