Our mission at For The Love Of German Shepherd Rescue is to assist homeless dogs in need by taking in those who face death or an uncertain future in animal shelters. We care for them in our home, providing stability, sustenance and security until a permanent adoptive home can be found. Our goal at 4 the Love of German Shepherds Rescue is to rescue and provide forever homes to those
GSDs in need. We are a small home-based rescue dedicated to saving these exceptional dogs from shelters and those that have lost their homes through no fault of their own or other circumstances deem that they be re-homed through neglect or abuse. Our entire operation is run by myself and my wonderfully supportive husband. We have a home facility where we house the dogs, train, and provide them with the medical care they need. We have a veterinarian come to our facility when we need him to take care and provide medical treatment for sick or injured rescues.
About Us
We currently fund the Rescue entirely ourselves, but donations are always welcome and appreciated. We are not a shelter and rely on like-minded individuals to temporarily provide a safe home for the dogs in our program until suitable permanent adoptive homes can be found.
Adopting Your New Family Member
Our adoption process begins when you complete an adoption application. We then check your personal and
veterinarian references, and conduct a home visit. Our online adoption
application is coming soon. In the meantime, email
us and we'll be happy to send you an adoption application.
