CONGRATULATIONS!
In years past, our group was entered in the novelty category of the parade. The first year we participated we won 1st place and a beautiful Lucite award. We actually performed a little drill routine during the march. This year, Jim entered us in the marching category which, we thought, pretty much eliminated us from any possibility of competing. There were 15 marching bands alone that stay in formation and play throughout the route, not to mention many other "pros." Kudos to all who took part;
We were awarded a ribbon and
WON 3rd place in the marching category...Way to go!!
