Chase was an 18 month old pup rescued from the Chilton County animal shelter in January 2008. This beautiful dog was so full of life and energy! He seemed the picture of health the four months that we had him except we noticed he drank a good deal of water. No one is quite sure what caused his untimely death.

Chase was treated for a bout of severe vomiting and spent hours at the vet late one night receiving IV fluids and medications. He improved and was released to go home about 2 AM but was found dead the next morning in his run. It was a very sad day in rescue. Autopsy was inconclusive.
