VOLUNTEERING:

Do you have a few spare hours and a love for animals?

If so, the shelter needs your help!!! Volunteers are essential to the operation of the shelter. Without our volunteers, many animals would never find their forever homes! There are many different volunteer opportunities available:

Aluminum Can Collection -- Volunteers needed to pick up cans from our drop-off sites around the county and carry them to the recycling center.

Transportation -- Volunteers needed to help transporting animals to mobile adoptions, vet appointments for spay/neuter, and transporting animals to rescue.

Dog/Cat Companion -- Volunteers needed to help with feeding, walking the dogs, and socializing the dogs and cats. Also need help with bathing and grooming the animals - many that come to the shelter are in need of a good brushing or a bath to increase their chances of adoption.

Kennel Help -- Volunteers needed to help at the shelter with duties such as laundry, cleaning, washing dishes, etc.

Mobile Adoptions -- Volunteers needed to help showcase our cats and dogs at our mobile adoption sites. The more mobile adoptions we can do, the more animals have a chance at finding a new home!!

Posting Pet Photos -- Volunteers needed to print and post up-to-date photographs at locations throughout the county. Photos can be downloaded from our website! i
