Kiche takes a walk.....Summer has everyone busy and not too many people adding to their blogs.....Kiche bolted her winter coat and actually let me brush her a bit. She has a beautiful soft summer coat now. I have let her loose several times but she is hard to catch so I have taken to putting her on a leash and walking her around the yard and into other dog's circles. She loves to play.
Today I put her on a 16' flexi leash and took Ivy and Mardy along for an hour walk. Kiche was very cautious about leaving the yard. Her security is with the other dogs. But she tends to follow me around so we had a wonderful walk. She never did go out ahead of me and was often a couple of yards behind me. Sometimes she would come up and walk at my side. She hasn't seen a lot of new things but she never balked. I never had to "pull" her anywhere, she just followed. But I knew if she got loose I wouldn't be able to catch her yet. I will do more of this with her as she is a delight to walk and will give her more confidence.
