Scully's Training Log -- April 25, 2004: Scully ran with a team of 5 on a short 4-wheeler run. This was the first time she's been hooked up with other dogs, so I put her in the middle position and she didn't have a partner. She ran well.

Scully's Training Log -- April 21, 2004: Scully has been attending puppy parties and due to lack of snow I haven't taken her out for a run until today. She was pretty excited when I walked over to her. I put a man-mat harness on her and she was very squirmy. I think she just was excited that she was going to go some place. I took her and Duke (one of my lead dogs) for a run-jour.
My road is half ice-hole and half-mud, the first half is ice-hole, so once we got onto the road both Duke and Scully were pulling so hard that was dog-skiing for a while (sort-of like water skiing) until I bellyflopped into the freezing cold ice hole. Man it was COLD! I fell two more times until we got to the mud. Once we got to the mud I had much more control.
Scully didn't seem to know gee/haw (apparently she is supposed to per her write up in the pound log), but she pulls and runs well. It's possible that she was listening to commands because she's never run-jour'd before-- I'll have to try taking her out with the 4 wheeler to see how she does.

Scully's Training Log -- April 05, 2004: I haven't taken Scully for a run yet because it's only been a week+ since she's been spayed. Scully has participated in our puppy parties. She fits right in-- get along with all of the other dogs. She's very friendly and happy. She know's how to jump onto her box.
