Before we will accept a surrendered animal please:
1. Review our acceptance policies as listed on the canine and feline
pages of this web site.
2. Call 980-9073 (for dogs) or 331-4579 (for cats) prior to bringing an animal to us to see if
we have space available and if we will be able to accept your animal.
3. Understand that if we accept your animal we will require a mandatory
surrender fee to cover the partial cost of care and placement of your pet.

Directions:
The
Ranch is located off of Hwy 528 (Rio Rancho Blvd) and Iris Rd. Head
west on Iris Rd from Hwy 528. Follow Iris to the second stop sign, where it reaches Paseo del Volcan (approximately 2.5 miles) and turn right onto the dirt road. Just ahead on the left you'll see a "Watermelon Mountain Ranch Detour" sign. Turn there. You'll approach the site where the new high school is under construction. We're not there. Stay to the right as you go around the curve and go over the hill. When you top the hill you'll see the ranch ahead of you.
4WD is advised after heavy rain.
