MISSION STATEMENT

It is the intention of Woodbridge Township Animal control to care for the homeless and abandoned animals in our area. We consider the well being of our residents as well as our animals as we strive to find home and/or rescues for our animals.

The Mission of Woodbridge Township Animal Control, in recognition and respect for the animal/human bond, is to anticipate and provide services that will insure public health and safety, enhance the quality of our lives and promote animal welfare through enforcement, education, and the enactment of humane initiatives. This includes but is not limited to:

cat The prevention of cruelty to animals.
dog The relief of the suffering of animals.
cat The care and placement of homeless animals.
dog The encouragement of kindness toward animals.
cat The encouragement of and assistance in the enforcement of all laws and ordinances for the prevention of cruelty to and the protection of animals.
dog The promotion of the welfare of animals, particularly in Woodbridge Township.
Woodbridge Township engages only in benevolent, charitable, and humane activities related to this mission statement.

Adoption Information

-Prospective adopters must fill out an adoption application..Click here to download form

- We only accept checks or money orders for adoption fees, redemption fees, surrender fees, etc.

-Apartment dwellers must produce a letter from their landlord stating pets are allowed.

-The minimum age for adoption is 21 years old.
