Phone Counselor

“My cat is not using the litterbox”
“My kid is allergic to the dog”
“There is a stray cat with kittens in my back yard”

 Help people with pet problems by fielding phone calls from our 24 hr hotline. Training and resource materials are provided. Good communication skills and a low burnout threshold are needed for this once a week or every other week commitment.

 Cage Cleaner

 Homeless cats in the Luvapet Adoption Centers at PetSmart stores in Watchung and Bridgewater need love and attention, food and water from cage cleaners who commit to once a week or every other week housekeeping chores. 12 cages take about an hour to clean. You must be willing and able to pick up friendly homeless cats and kittens to move them from a dirty cage to a clean one .

Fundraising Event Coordinator

Could you plan a tricky tray event to benefit homeless pets? An ice cream social for dogs, cats & their owners? A spaghetti dinner? An antiques roadshow event? A way to raise funds that we haven’t thought of???

Our projects need more funding!
