| We are Sussex County Fellowship for Animals, a non-profit organization supported entirely by donations, grants, and various fundraising events. We receive no federal, state, county, or, municipal funding. Our primary purpose is to provide love, companionship, shelter, food, socialization, and medical care for the many unwanted animals that come to us until permanent, loving homes can be found for them. Most of our animals come from owners who, for whatever reason can no longer keep their pet. (If you find a stray animal, please call the Animal Control Officer for your area.) |

We have so many wonderful cats and dogs for adoption! If you see a dog or cat that you are interested in, we ask that you fill out our Pre-Adoption form and provide references. We carefully screen our adoptive families so that the right animal will go home with the right family. SCFA makes every effort to spay or neuter our animals prior to adoption, however if an animal is not old enough to be spayed or neutered, a refundable deposit is required to ensure that the animal will be altered.
