Classes for dogs and owners at PARA:

PARA has regular obedience classes for dogs at least 4 months old.  Classes meet Mondays for 6 weeks. 

PARA now has a class for puppies, 2-4 months old. Start your  puppy out right, you'll both be happier with a well-behaved dog!
Dog classes meet at the Lions Club Building on Greensboro at 31st St. For information and registration call Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation at 562-3230.

Maddie's Pet Rescue Project
Find out about the Animal Coalition of Tuscaloosa (ACT), a coalition of animal groups working to increase animal adoptions and decrease the number of unwanted animals in Tuscaloosa County.  And watch for information about the grant from Maddie's Fund recently awarded to ACT.

Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project
Find out about the low-cost spay/neuter program for Medicaid households, funded by a grant from Maddie's Fund.

Looking for a New Pet: The participants in Maddie's Pet Rescue Project of Tuscaloosa have animals available for adoption. Then call or visit one of Tuscaloosa's animal rescue organizations and find out about pet adoption in Tuscaloosa. They make it easy to find a new animal friend!
